Fun Monday #9. Five and five.

The Nekked Lizards (I LIKE that name) have asked to post FIVE pictures with captions of FIVE words. I LOVE this request. The challenge for me was to make it five non-dog pictures (OK, I could have done five dog pictures, but that demonstrates a certain obsessive aspect of my personality that i don't want EVERYONE to know about).

My First Birthday Long Ago:

Butterflies: fragile beauty symbolizing hope

OK. I think two pictures without any reference to a dog is quite enough. What are you expecting of me? See, I AM versatile. Now, to the dog pictures:

Dog feet smell like Fritos
(note: a bi-sensory picture)

Female hormones speak without words
Emma is my parent's clown

Now, go see what the other FM participants shared. There's LOTS this week!

You might be correct about the dogs toes. I'm sure I'll be thinking about that next time someone offers me a snakc. Eeewww!

Adorable first birthday picture.
Look at that hair!

I saw my first Painted lady butterfly today - the weather really brought them out

He, he...you have two pictures without dogs. The butterfly picture is beautiful. Of course, the dog pictures are nice too.

I always thought dog feet smelled good. Guess I'm weird.

Your brother looks like he wants to grab the camera - enough already! On to the cake!

And that hormone one? Some days I'd look just like that if I were a dog...

Why hold back on the dog obsession? Especially when you have so many subjects that provide such original poses. Who knew that dog toes and fritos had something in common? Although my old border collie did smell like a fresh-baked biscuit. Yes, we could use an intervention!

Why do dog feet smell like fritos? It is so true.

Great pictures. I never thought to use older pictures. I took all of mine today - I like the old ones.

I'll pass on smelling dog feet. So are happy b-day's in order?
You cover a lot of emotions
Thanks for playing

Hi - me again. The creepy crawly things were ants on the sidewalk.

You are forcing me to either A: go smell my dog's little foot (though I know where she has been) or B: give up Fritoe's because of "A". Is this scientific evidence? Or do certina breeds of dogs emite certain varieties of snack chips? I like Nacho Cheese Doritoes - Please don't tell me they have a canine scent too. Nice posts - Thanks for stopping by and participating... NLM

WHIPPET FEET DEFINITELY SMELL LIKE FRITOS. It's a scientific fact. But my sweet old lab's feet used to smell like Fritos, too. Makes me like Fritos more, not less.

I love Emma's photo and words. And Gabi. All of them!

good job!

Fritos? Really? :-)

That "female hormones" is absolutely priceless!!! And I'm going to go smell my dogs feet because I'm pretty sure they don't smell like Fritos. Deer poop yes. Fritos no.

Fritos? Really? My dog must not be as cleaning his feet correctly!

I'm going to go home tonight and sniff my cat's paws and see if they smell like food. I bet they don't. :-)

Your 1st b-day picture is so sweet! You look so cute! And I love the dog toes picture, but I don't think I'll bet smelling them anytime soon!

The hormone photo is a HOOT! My three female boxers can totally relate!

Well your butterfly was very beautiful and you were very cute! But that dog picture was the winner! Female hormones indeed, I could not resist posting a dog picture too! LOL.

I loved the pb picture from your previous post. My boxer did that last week and no, I did not let her. Her fact didn't fit nearly as nicely as your boy's.

The hormonal pup? We just call that "smiling in your big girl voice".

Great job.

That butterfly is beautiful and you were a cute little one! I would have been sad if there were no doggies. :) Fritos, huh?
