OK. Two nights ago, tornadoes. Now, in the past 24 hours I have received 7 inches of rain. The dry creek behind my house is NOT DRY. Actually, it has over-flowed. It's common to have tanks (for non-country folk, that's a big pond) around here. My neighbor's tank has overflowed, so now their entire backyard is a mini-lake.
Last night, as the rain kept coming, I was wondering "what next?" Then I realized, that thought process might bring on something REALLY bad.....so, I'm trying to think "happy" thoughts. In this part of the country, the saying goes, "if you don't like the weather today, wait until tomorrow." that is SO true. From snow to tornadoes to flash flood producing rain. Weird.
